In Genesis 45, Joseph, who has risen to the position of governor in Egypt, discloses his true identity to his brothers, the very same ones who had sold him into slavery decades before. He comforts them by explaining that their actions were part of God’s divine plan to preserve their lives during a time of famine. Joseph then extends an invitation for his entire family to move to Egypt and live under his care.

John firstly points out the first thing Joseph is concerned about, not revenge or hatred towards his brother, but his priority was his dad, as his first question to his brothers was “Does my father still live?”. He loved his dad, he missed his dad! John continues to touch on relevant topics like, success, failure, discerning the demonic & his sermon takeaway at 43:48. A very thought provoking sermon.
